Dorothy Mae Wing was born June 29, 1935 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Inez Thornton and Dorothy Douglas Brooks. She was the fourth of eight children.

On Tuesday August 18, 2020 God saw fit to call Dorothy home.

Dorothygraduated from Frederick Douglas High School and from there she attended Nursing School at Church Home Hospital and lCatonsville Community College, she received a Associate Degree in Nursing.

She later pursued a career in Respiratory Therapy and after 30 years at Church Home Hospital she retired.

While working at Church Home Hospital, she met Reginald Wing and the two were married on September 12,1972. Reginald Wing preceded her in death April 1980.

Dorothy loved to travel and was known for being funny, outgoing and very outspoken. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Dorothy leaves to cherish her memory; Ruth White (sister) and Edward White (brother) her five children Wanda Hutchins, Timothy Stewart, Angela Moss, James Thornton and Samatha Jenkins.10 grandchildren; Tawanda Coleman, Bill Hudson II, Timothy Stewart JR, Raleigh Moss III, Ryan Moss, Jennifer Thornton, Andrew Jenkins and Darian Jackson. Also, 2 grandchildren that proceeded her in death, Josh Thornton and Rodney Booth JR. Plus a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
