Dorothy Ann Savoy, daughter of the late Joseph Weaver Sr., and Ollie V. Montgomery, was born on March 7, 1949 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dot, as she was affectionately known departed this life on Wednesday, March 21, 2012. At an early age, Dot came to live in Baltimore with her mother and siblings. She received her education in the Baltimore City Public School System. Dot was employed with Hippodrome Cleaners for many years. Later, she attended Bay College, from where, from where she earned a degree in Para-Legal Studies and became employed with Sussman Law Firm. Dot made an impression upon everyone she came in contact with. She never hesitated to "speak her mind" even when she was wrong - she was right. Her strength and determination enable her to overcome the many obstacles she faced in life. Dot was extremely loyal to her children, family and friends., She enjoyed enteraining, cooking and loved the latest fashions. Her favorite saying was "Stop drinking that hater-ade." She leaves to cherish her memory, son, Joseph, daughters; Yvette, Dominque, Tione, and Monique, two sisters; Bertha and Yvonne, step-father, Wade Montgomery, daugther-in-law; Faith Savoy, two sons-in-law; Anthony Epes and Michael Dorsey, two brothers-in-law, Curtis White and Lawrence Weldon, two sisters-in-law, Winnie Weaver and Debbie Weaver, eight grandchildren; Antoine, Sherrell, Tenia, Joseph IV, Jasmine, Micaea'la, Anuyah a;nd her very special baby, Reggie, fianc'e, Ronald "Joe" Thompson, five great-grandchildren; Tyshe, Arianna, Christopher Jr., Daja and Aiden, God-daughter; Ronnie Durant, favorite cousin; Beatrice Lucas, devoted friend; Nathaniel "Floater" Barnes, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
