Duane Timothy Griffin son of the late John Daniel Griffin Sr. and Julia Corinda Griffin was born on March 1st, 1955 in Baltimore, Maryland. Duane quietly slipped away from his earthly vessel on Monday, September 30, 2013. His loving and peaceful spirit will always and forever be in our midst. Duane was educated in the Baltimore City Schools. He was employed by the Baltimore City Public Works where he retired after so many years of service. Duane met his love Carolyn and from that union they had two daughters, Keyana Tiffany and Kiara Korinda Griffin. He enjoyed watching sports, old westerns, playing cards, caring for people, telling jokes and spending time with family. Duane was affectingly known by his grandchildren as "Pop-Pop". They could always depend on him for words of advice and a strong hand to lead them in the right direction on life's narrow pathways. Duane leaves to cherish his fond memories; his brother John Daniel Griffin, Jr. who proceeded him in death. Two daughters; Keyana Tiffany Griffin and Kiara Korinda Griffin, four granddaughters; Kenyah, Keturah, the "Twins" Kaylee and Kailee, two grandsons Keon and Kayden. Two Sisters; Tonda C. Coleman and Sheila Grinnell. Two aunts; Winifred "Sug" Parks and Olivia Griffin. Five nieces; Angela Griffin, Tonita Coleman Monique, Carla and Whitney Grinnell. Four nephews; Maurice (Mo), Dackren Coleman, John D. Griffin III and Jonathan Griffin. Four great nieces; Jordan, Ahessa, Julia and Zoie and one great nephew; Dackren. A Host of family, friends, a dedicated friend Dennis "Dinko".
