Obituary

Dwayne Michael Ashe, affectionately known as ''Stinkum'' by his family and dear frendsl was later referred to as a young man as ''Stink.'' All that came to know Stinkum could not help but to love him. His sensitivity to the human spirit, love for the most bassic of life's experiences were fostered by the tender unblemished love, devotion and spiritual guidance of his Gramps ''Mollie B'' and Grandma Lucille. Dwayne not only touched those around him, but left everyone that came in touch with him changed and blessed for it. Dwayne Michael Ashe, son of the late Glen M. Ashe Jr. and the former Pamela kR. Ashe was born on April 5, 1977 in Baltimore, Maryland. He successfully completed Millford Mill High School, majoring in Auto Mechanics. There upon Dwayne's received a grant to attend Catonsvile Community College for Auto Mechanics, during which time he decided to pursue a career as a driver, which combined his love for cars and traveling. Dwayne's passion for cars and love for traveling culuminated with his employment at Frguson Trucking Company of Woodbine, Maryland where he was respected, loved and admired for over seven years until he recent illness. Dwayne gave his life to Christ on Saturday, November 7, 1992. He ascended from earth to Glory to be re-united with his parents the morning of September 9, 2006. Although our Holy Father changed Dwayne's earthly garments to his heavenly robe, his memory lives on through the lives of his only surviving brother Glen M. Ashe III Whoody his sister-in-law Nicole Ashe and his grandmother Mollie Smith; his cousin Derrick affectionately known as Dwayne's second brother; his Aunt Evon, his second mother and his Uncle Bay, who after th passing of his parents unselfishly took on the role as his mentor, nurturer and guide-quickly became known to Stinkum as his honorary father. Also uncles robert Johnson, Robert Smith and Cordell Ashe; aunts Verline Johnson, Annette Ashe, Thelma Ashe, Jeuverna Smith, Vanessa Smith and Cynthia Ashe; the many nephews, nieces, cousins and host of other relatives and friends live on with all of the joy that yet remains of Swayne. A special heartfelt thanks to Stinkum's Bexhill Family- Mr. Albert, Mr. Melvin and Ms Angie and the late Mr. Aaron and Edith Stowers.
