Obituary

E ar nest Brooks, was born on June 23, 1938 in Baltimo r e, Maryland to
the late Inez Alexander and Edward Brooks Sr. On Wednesday after
-
noon May 25,2016 God saw fit to relieve him of pain and call him home .

Earnest gave his l i fe to Christ many years ago and joined Macedonia
Church of God where Bishop Nathan Perry is the Pastor. He always
referred to his church family as the "Saints"
. He enjoyed attending
churc
h and the Annual Convention in North Carolina.

He a t tended Bal ti more City Public Schools . He retired as a Custodial
Engineer from the Social Security Administration.

Earnest affectiona t e l y known as " Toe Joe " served as a caddy at numer ous
Golf Courses in Ba l timore for over 40 years . He enjoyed life and on
any given day Earnest cou
l d be seen putting golf balls at a nearby park .
He a l ways had a l ove for horse racing.

k s. He is preceded in death by his brother, Edward Brooks Jr. , and

. He was married to Joyce Brooks.
