Eddie Louis Bibbs was born December 5, 1966 in Detroit, Michigan to Sharon Dean Bibbs and Bobby Manual. He dedicated his life at a very young age to the Lord and started his musical career at his family church, St. John Overcoming Church Ministries, Inc., playing the organ beginning his lifelong dedication to his musical talent and career.
Eddie was United in holy matrimony to Valerie D. Roseberry on December 18, 1993. He was blessed with four beautiful children. Eddie loved all of his family! He absolutely loved attending family functions, eating out, dancing and vacationing. He loved life to the fullest. Even while battling five years of Cancer treatment, Eddie never changed
Eddie had such a warm, kind and gentle spirit. He was forever and always giving others a helping hand, in so much, that he started taking classes to become a councilor to continue to help others in life's situations.
Eddie was a very talented self-taught musician. He was the Minister of Music at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for over 18 years where he loved attending church with is grandchildren, Delilah and Antonio Jr. Eddie continued to serve in the ministry for the remainder of his years singing solos and directing the choir.
On Monday, December 7, 2020, Eddie Louis Bibbs was called to be with the Lord. He was precedes in death by his loving son Ray Anthony Bibbs, who was also a very talented self-taught musician, like his father, who gave him his first piano lessons.
Eddie is survived by: his three sons, Hayward (Demarcus & Andrea)Turnipseed, Antonio (Chanaci) Bibbs, and Christopher Bibbs; his loving mother, Sharon Dean Brown; two brothers, Dwight (Lori) Bibbs and Dwayne (Jacqueline) Bibbs, and little sister, Sharon Raymonna (Jabari) Lester. He also leaves behind, a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members and many dear friends. Whom will miss him dearly!
