Edith Bernadette (Graham) Garrett ~ daughter of the late Freddie and
Harriett Graham received her call from her heavenly Father to come home. Bern,
as she was affectionately known by family and close friends was born on May
14, 1946 in Baltimore, Maryland. She was the third child in a family of twelve
children.

Bern was educated in the Baltimore City Public Schools and graduated from
Eastern High School in 1964. She obtained her Bachelor's Degree from Pacific
Oaks College in 2009.

She gave her life to Christ at an early age and remained a faithful witness until
her recent transition.

Bern was employed at Kennedy Krieger School and was one of the directors at
the Downtown Baltimore Childcare from where she retired. It was very impor-
tant to Bern during her career that the laws and rules protecting children physi-
cally, emotionally and educationally were strictly implemented.

During her free time, Bernadette enjoyed gardening, knitting, Crocheting, nee-
dlepoint and other handcrafts. She also liked hand dancing, singing, reading and
spending time with family. Each morning, she began her day with a cup of coffee
and a bowl of watermelon.

Bernadette leaves her loving touch and memories to: her daughters, Renee and
India; son, Eddie; grandchildren; Zoe, Malik, Diondra, Andre and Aiyana;
sisters, Rosita (Delbert), Lolita (Kenneth predeceased), Michelle, Thomasita,
Fredericka, Evelyn, Felecia and Cathy; brothers, Juan, Ronaldo (Theresa), and
Rafael as well as a host of many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in
