Obituary

Edna Mae Hill, daughter of George Hayes and the late Willean Curtis. Born in Dillon, South Carolina on May 23,1955. She departed her life on September 19,2014. She received her education at Baltimore City Public Schools and worked as a GNA for years. Edna also devoted her spare time volunteering in public service. Edna was known to everyone as "Sis" or "Shorty". Sis loved life and enjoyed her family and friends. She was a very strong, charismatic and feisty person. She leaves to mourn: One son, Walter Cromer, Jr., one daughter, Jacqueline Cromer-Haynes, One son-law Carlos Haynes, four grandchil- dren, Antoinette Terry, Tevin Connor, Javin Connor, and Jayla Cromer, one great grandchild Karter Connor, four sisters, Lena Knox, Dar- lene Curtis, Henrietta Ellis, Adda Ellis, one brother Rudolph Curtis, one uncle Stewart Hill Jr., and a host of nieces and nephews.
