Edward v. Ewing, was born to the late Bettye E. Tunstall and Frank Ewing on October 12, 1947. He departed this life on April 17, 2012 after a lengthy illness. Edward received his education in the Baltimore city Public School system, a graduate of Carver Vocational Technical High in 1966. He met the love of his life at the early age of 12. From that friendship developed into a marriage that has lasted 48 years and from this union two children were born, Annette Ewing-Murphy and Andrua Ewing. He worked many jobs, 10 years at General Motors, 20 years at Continental Car Company and 23 years at Baltimore City in the Department of Public Works. Eddie a.k.a. "Fred" and "Pie" was a joker, hard worker, and a family man, he would help anyone he could. He loved his Pepsi and to "Smoke", but most of all he enjoyed his time with his friends and family. He leaves to mourn; his devoted and loving wife, Alice Ewing; one daughter, Annette and son-in-law, Anthony Murphy; one son Andrua Ewing; one brother, Charles Tunstall; one brother who preceded him in death, Vernon Tunstall; one sister Diane Ewing Kansas; two sisters-in-law, Regina Charles Randall and Charlotte Holman; one mother-in-law, Marian Smith; three nieces, Arnel Kapriel and Lariel; one nephew, Brendin; two grandchildren, Dajae and Dgion; three great nieces, Gewel, Gem and Kelis; two great nephews; Gary and Nigel and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, relatives and coworkers; special and devoted friend, Bop.
