Edward Chapel Green, first of Violet Green and the late Christopher Green, was born on July 1, 1947 in Georgetown South Carolina. Edward, affectionately known as ''Sonny Boy'', was educated in the Baltimoe City Public School System, and graduated specializing in auto mechanics. Sonny soon met Vivian Johnson and from this union had three daughters, Adrienne, Tanya and Tausha. He enjoyed being a father and did many fun activities with his children including making green eggs and ham, which everyone was reluctant to eat, but turned out to be quite good. He was an excellent cook for his family and friends. Edward worked many jobs throughout his life, but was most proud to work for the Steamship Trade of Baltimore. He worked at the Dundalk Marine Terminal for over twenty years, and told many stories about the fun he had while working. Edward made many many friends throughout his life including Michael, Teddy, Goodie, Bonnetta, Jackie and Regina. There are too many friends to name, and he easily made friends wherever he went. He was a very good story teller and loved to play jokes. Sonny enjoyed cooking, entertaining, fishing, spending time with his family, taking pictures, and motorcycles. Sonny truly loved his motorcycle and his comic books. Soony carried a picture of his motorcycle in his wallet to show everyone how proud he was of his Honda Gold Wing. Sonny was an avid comic book collector and often spoke of his first edition Superman comic that was accidentally thrown away years ago. sonny was a cowboy and loved his chaps, spurs and many hats. All he needed was a horse. In his later life, Sonny truly enjoyed being a grandfather and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, especially his Darius ''Durwood Baby''. they were two peas in a pod and soon Sonny added pictures of his grandson to his wallet to keep the picture of his motorcycle company. Soony began to attend Bethlehem African Methodist Episcopal Churchwith his daughter, Tanya. In November of 2002. Sonny was so moved by the spirit of God that he prayed the prayer of salvation giving his life to Christ. He loved people and life. He was truly fun, and is already deeply missed. He departed this life on March 1, 2006.
