Obituary

EDWARD JAMES son of the late Alease Pressley and David Pressley was born on January 13, 1946 in South Carolina. He departed this life on May 28, 2016 after a lengthy Illness. Edward, better known as "Road Runner", was raised and educated in South Carolina.

He moved to Baltimore at the age of 21. His first job in Baltimore was with his late aunt Miona Carr for the Lord Baltimore Hotel. After leaving that job, he worked for Clifton Conduit but found his true passion when he became a Tractor Trailer driver. He retired as a Tractor Trailer driver in 2014.

Road Runner enjoyed playing chess and cards games such as pinochle and poker. He loved being around friends and family. He will truly be missed by all who loved him.

Road Runner was preceded in death by his daughter, Nikita James.

He leaves to cherish his memory: Grand Children, Kiana James and Lamont Banks Jr.; his great-granddaughter, Kaliyah James; His companion of twenty years, Arlene Brown and her family which consist of 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; Three Brothers, Orion
James (Deloris James), Michael James, Ronnie James; Four Sisters, Allidease Rich (Robert Rich), Valerie Pressley, Brenda Holder, Jean Rawlings (Alvin Rawlings) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
