Obituary

Edward Anthony Rodgers, son of the late Adolphus Rodgers and the
late Minnette L. Connie was born on January 1 , 1967 in Baltimore,
Maryland. He departed this life suddenly on May19, 2018.

Edward, affectionately known as "Tony" also known as "Buddy Moke"
to family was born the last of seven children. From birth he was faced
with developmental challenges but was able to live life as any other by
attending school and various Day Camps outside of school.1his al-
lowed him to gain many friends throughout the years and attend trips.
Tony would wake up bright and early, get dressed, put on his baseball
cap and stand outside hours before his bus was due to arrive and repeat-
edly say, "Come on Bus" while waiting. When at home, he loved watch-
ing television. His favorite shows was "Regis and Kathy Lee" and
WWE Wrestling and would attend the shows at the Arena when they
would come to town. He was a lover of music, his favorite entertainer
was Michael Jackson. Every Christmas, his wishlist remained the same,
a boombox, Michael Jackson's "Off the Wall" cd and a collection of
wrestling books. He carried his radio everywhere he went.

Tony will be sorely missed and Elsinore Ave will never be the same
without Tony standing outside on his porch waving at everyone who
drives by. He will be remembered for his friendly personality, his balled
up dollar bills, asking family, "give me a dollar, or a quarter, or just give
me some gum". Anyone that went to the store for him knows that he
demanded his change.

Tony leaves to mourn: Five brothers, Paul(Roslyn), Gilson(Cynthia),
Barry, Brian(Della) and Charles(Dorthea), one sister, Denna, One
Aunt, Margaret Marks, Ten nieces, Two nephews, twenty three Great
nieces and Great nephews, Two Great-Great Nieces and a host of cous-
ins and other family members and friends.
