Efren Frizell Bailey Sr., (Nickname: Beetle) son ofLinwoodEpps and Bronte Bailey, who preceded him in death.Efrenwas born August 22, 1964 in Baltimore, Maryland.

Efren was educated in the Baltimore City Schoolsand laterattended college for two years.

Efren (Beetle) met and married his queen, MaryElizabethEpps and gave the last name Bailey to carry on for 30yearsof marriage and 40 years together.

Efren worked a few hotel jobs as banquet supervisor.Heespecially loved working with elderly neighborsand withUnion Memorial Church and First Abyssinia BaptistChurchwith their food drives helping with any job that neededto bedone.

Efren favorite pastime was reading the newspaper daily, music and writing statistics from his numerous collections of baseball cards. He enjoyed old westerns and especially Law&Order,PerryMason which he watched both every day andImean everyday.

Efren was known in the familyasthe old school disciplinary who gave tough love.He isknown for putting any crying babytosleep. He did not like taking pictures,soI had to sneak and take them sleeping or putting babies asleep.

Efren was very dedicated to his family and loved helping others. Efren (Beetle) touched the lives ofmany people.
