Obituary

Egbert Douglas, also known· as "Glen or Charger" was born on



October 5th, 1954 to the late Evelyn Gilispie and Arthur Douglas in the

Parish of st. Ann. At a tender age, Egbert and his mother moved to King-

ston where he attended school. After completing school, Egbert's mother

and siblings moved back to St. Ann where he worked as a driver for his

late brother-in-law, Busta Brown.



In 1991, Egbert migrated to the United States of America. He resided in

New York City. He met his wife, Maria Peters-Douglas. In the



marriage, two beautiful children were born. Egbert decided to move his

family to Wilmington, Delaware. There in Wilmington, he became a busi-

ness owner of two car washes. After the closing of these



businesses, he worked for Delaware Park. Egbert then further his

horizons and moved to Baltimore, Maryland, where he worked for Sweep

Rite Company.



Egbert Douglas was truly blessed. He departed us on August 15,2019.

Egbert Douglas was preceded in death by his wife, Maria Peters-Douglas;

six sons, Kenroy, Sterling, Juju, Gavin, Glenroy, Linval, Dennis, and

Dallin; two daughters, Tena and Deneisha. Fourteen grandchildren, two

great-grandchildren, sisters, and a host of nieces and nephews, and his best

friend, Jessie Rogers.
