IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Elease
Brown
November 30, 1945 – April 13, 2019
Mrs. Elease "Pee Wee" Brown died peacefully due to a lengthy illness on April
13, 2019 at the age of 73 in Baltimore, Maryland. Prayers, music, and loving
family/friends visits preceded her sunset. Elease Brown was born on November
30, 1945 in Florence, South Carolina to her late parents Jack Ford and Dora
Williams.
She graduated from Wilson High School in Florence, South Carolina.
After moving to Baltimore, Maryland, she later met and married the love of her
life Ernest Brown (late) in June 1968. Elease established a career working for
Bank of America as a bank teller for well over 20 years and happily retired from
the position. Over a period of time, the couple welcomed their child Tracey
Rene Brown (late) into their home and hearts and set about teaching her the
ways of God. She was active in her husband's and child's lives and consistently
expressed her love and support.
After an audacious battle with her illness, the Lord told Elease, "Well done thy
good and faithful servant" and allowed her to finally rest eternally in His
ultimate care.
She was a generous, vocal and social woman of God who loved reading,
bowling, traveling, and playing cards. Her day was not complete without
watching Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, and Family Feud. She loved eating fish
and chocolate candy was never too far from her. She was especially passionate
about family gatherings, childrens' education, and kidney health. She tirelessly
gave her time, commitment, and financial support to such endeavors. She was
an active and dedicated member of Leadenhall Baptist Church and often
volunteered in National Kidney Walks every year as long as her strength
allowed. Even afterwards, she continued to strongly support all concerned
foundations.
Elease is survived by her sister Mary Stewart (late Hubert) and a wonderful host
of relatives and friends.
