She departed
this life on Tuesday, May
19, 2016
at Future Care Nursing Home.
She came to Baltimore at an early age where she attended Old Douglass
High School
.
She met and married Alexander Bagley and began a family.
Out of this union were
2
children. She also cared for
3
foster children.
Christine was a
faithful,
loving wife and mother. As a stay at home wife she
was an after school caretaker for several neighborhood children. Working
parents on the block knew that there was a place that their children would
be safe until they came home from work.
Christine attended the First Apostolic Faith Church where she was filled
with the Holy Spirit. She was a member of the social missionary and
women's choir. Christine loved to sing old southern hymns with her
husband and talk about the Lord with anyone. Her smile was infectious.
When asked how she was doing was always known for saying I am well
thanking the Lord. She and her husband loved to travel and after he retired
they traveled and enjoyed their lives.
She is survived by: her loving husband, Alexander Bagley; Kevin Bagley
(son), Jacqueline Bagley (daughter), Phillip Hawkins(son), Cheryl Salem
(daughter) Dorise Salem (daughter), Florence Carey (sister) Bernice
Davis (sister) Shirley Simms (sister in law) Joe Bagley (brother in law),
several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren,
nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
