Elizabeth (Lizzy) Alston was born on October 21, 1937 in Cheraw,
South Carolina to the late Oscar and Leona Bennett. She was one of 9
children all her siblings preceded her in death.

Lizzy married the late John (Buck) Alston on July 4, 1953 and they re-
mained married until his passing. This union produced 8 children, Larry,
Patricia, John Jr., Ray, Alton, Reginald, Michael and Jeffrey. She was ed-
ucated in Maryland where she received her A.A. degree from the Commu-
nity College of Baltimore.

Lizzy was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on April 15, 1950 and
served Jehovah faithfully for the next 69 until her death on February 18,
2019. She will be remembered for her fervent preaching activities in all
facets of the ministry. She was known to remind family and friends to
stand firm in the faith and always, always "Give Jehovah something to
bless". Those who knew and loved Lizzy will delight in recalling how she
could light up a room with her contagious laughter and a bowl of banana
pudding. Her most enduring quality was that she never failed to see the
good in those-of whom she came in contact.

She leaves to remember her lovingly and await her return her daughter
Patricia; three sons, LaITY, John Jr. (Karen), and Michael (Maria); a host
of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, cous-
ins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
