Elizabeth Jefferson, formerly known as Elizabeth Jones, was born on August 3, 1913 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life on April 2, 2008. Elizabeth received her education in Baltimore City Public Schools. She would walk home from work just to save her money from her job as a domesticator. Elizabeth was a devoted wife to Frederick Jefferson and a devoted mother to her four children William David Hill, Annette Woods, Ronald Hill and Levi Hill all who preceded her in death. She also had a very special loving relationship with her late brother David Jones. For more than twenty-five years she was a zealous servant of Jehovah God. Everywhere she went she told people about Jehovah and his promises. Enjoying the simple pleasures in life, Elizabeth loved to eat at Lexington Market and always enjoyed shopping in the downtown area. Her grandchildren always looked forward to their visits with her and knew what to expect; candy bars and toys. She enjoyed cooking and everyone looked forward to her specialties, shrimp and turkey wings. Not having a driver's license never stopped Elizabeth from doing anything, she hired a personal driver who would take her anywhere she wanted to go. Elizabeth's outspoken comments, infectious laugh and melodious singing will sincerely be missed. Elizabeth leaves to mourn: one sister-in-law, Ellen Jones; one daughter-in-law, Ellen Hill; seven grandchildren, Rhonda, Sharon, Lamont, Kim, Toni, Laticha and Kelly; and a host of great-grandchildren. Elizabeth also leaves to mourn a host of other relatives and friends.
