Elizabeth E. Parham affectionately known as "Mom Dukes" was born on January 25,1928 to the late Dora and Elmer Smith. On December 6, 2013, Elizabeth eloquently departed this life at St. Agnes Hospital, after a lengthy illness. Elizabeth was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System. She worked for years doing what she does best, taking care of others. Elizabeth had a special way with people and showed love to who ever crossed her path. She received Christ at an early age and instilled the love of Jesus Christ in her sons, grandchildren and family. Elizabeth is known for her love of family, friends and good food. She had a sweet tooth that was bigger and bolder than her stature. She took joy in reading, crossword puzzles and watching Matlock. She led a full life and did not leave many stones unturned. Elizabeth leaves to cherish her memory: two sons, Anthony and Tierre Parham; four grandchildren, Kendra M. Parham, Kendall D. Parham, Laquan L. McKoy and Kanay A. Parham. She shared a special bond with her niece Sheila Richardson from Philadelphia, PA and her nephew Maurice Brown from Baltimore, MD; a special friend, Janet Schutzman and caregiver, Ms. Smith, in addition to a host of other relatives and friends.
