Ella Mae Bowden was born October 24, 1954 to the late William H. Sills and Aleatha C. Sills. The Lord called Sister E11a M. Bowden home to Glory, After a lengthy illness. Ella departed from this earthly life on Wednesday, June 19, 2013. She was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System, ind graduated from Dunbar Senior high School in 1973. Ella love continuing her education. Seems like she was in school forever. She also attended Sojourner Douglas College were she received AA Degree, she went to Morgan State College were she received her Bachelor Degree and Master Degree in Business Administration and Accounting. Ella graduated from Philadelphia Bible Institution with a Masters in Ministry, also Ella received a Bachelor, Master and of Doctrine in 1998 in Christian Counseling and Church Administration. She taught Church Counseling ind Church Administration. Before she became really ill, Ella started on her Doctrines Degree on line for her Tax Business. Ella work for Social Security Administration for 21 years where she retired. After retiring she opened EMB Tax Service, also she did Daycare at home which she truly love. She really enjoy doing taxes and helping individuals, Churches, Daycare and other business. She also have variety of other jobs. Her motto was I don't work hard I work smart. Ella was full of compassion, always greeted you with a smile and made you feel comfortable to come and talk to her about anything. She was full of wisdom and knowledge always can give you sound advice, she was loving very strong willed in the Lord. She also loves kids and they love her back. Ella spread love and cheerfulness wherever she went. Ella loved her whole family and would go the extra mile for them, just to make sure that they were safe, stable and secured. If someone was in a jam and if she was able to help, she would help to the best of ability. We are proud to call her our Guardian Angel, We not only lost our Mother and Sister, but we lost our best friend. E11a leaves to mourn, her husband; Cebie Bowden, one son, Kevin Drown, one adopted son, Travantae (Keon) Brown 3 daughters, CoKetia (Kitty), Swantina (Tina) and Katrina (who preceded her in death), two sisters, Shirley Yvonne Parker, Margie M. Toomer (who preceded her in death), She have three brothers; William I. Sills Jr, Howard A. Sills and James R. Sills (which preceded ier in death). Also cherishing her memory her eight grandchildren, Teonna (Joy), Jordan, faith, Shania, Diontae', Shaniqua, Na'dajah and Khadijah. One great grandson Kayden, two son-in-laws Daniel and Manuel, also she have 7 brother-in laws, 5 sister -in laws, two adopted granddaughters, Mahogany, and Destiny and one adopted grandson, Chez and a host of nieces, nephews, family friends and bonus children /grandchildren.
