Elliott Horton Campbell, son of the late Mable Juanita Oconnor and James Russell Campbell Sr. was born on July 12, 1951 in Baltimore city. He departed this life on June 27, 2013 after a lengthy illness. At an early age, Elliott attended St. Peters Clever Church in Baltimore City with his family. Elliott received his education in the Baltimore City public schools where he attended Frederick Douglas High School. While attending Douglas High school he met and later married Evon D. Queen and out of this union one daughter was born, Danielle Deneice Campbell. Later in life, he had a son, Darrell Christopher Johnson. After high school, Elliott joined the Army Reserve. After leaving the military in 1978, he gained employment with the City of Baltimore in Recreation and Parks for a lengthy time until he retired in 2000. He enjoyed interacting with the kids daily at the recreation center. Elliott made numerous friends with his very humorous personality. He always kept everyone laughing and was always a true friend.
