ELLMUS MILLINGS, lovingly known as "Skin", was born on October 13, 1930 in Baltimore, Maryland. He was the son of the late Earl and Alberee Millings. After a lengthy illness, he departed this life on January 28,2014. Ellmus was raised by God-fearing parents who taught him to "Respect others and make your own way." At an early age, he began earning his own money, selling papers and shining shoes. He was educated in Baltimore City Public Schools. After high school, he worked various jobs. He retired as a plant foreman from Pemco Products (Glidden Paints) after 28 years of service. Ellmus was a respectful, mannerly, likeable fellow who as a young man enjoyed life attending live music shows and shooting pool. He was also admired as a smart dresser and enthusiastic sports fan. He often watched sports on television and listened to them on the radio. Ellmus was a loving, caring and supportive family man to his former wife Virnease Millings. In addition, he was a devoted son who remained by his aging mother's side until her passing. Ellmus leaves to celebrate his memory: siblings, Peach ella, Rosina, Delores, Cleo, Frederick, Barbara, and Willie Ross who preceded him in death; devoted former- wife, Virnease; his children, Richard, Carroll, Cleary, Angie, Kevin, Niecy, Valerie, Madeline, Denise and Stacy; devoted friend and companion, Joan; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
