Mrs. Ellonora Muldrow, daughter of the late Laura and Lowenthal Muldrow, was born on June 11, 1925, in Richmond Virginia and departed this life on May 6, 2008 after a lengthy illness. She recieved formal educational training in the Virginia public school system. Afterward, she moved to South Carolina where she met and married her husband Mr. David Horton Sr.. They produced six children of which three survied David, Barbara and Mary Frances. She moved to Baltimore to raise her family. She then moved to New York City to further her education where she worked as a part-time teacher/domestic worker for thirty-five years. She was also an avid member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, one sister Mrs. Rebel Fuller of New Jersey, two brothers Mr. James Muldrow of dPhiladelphia and Mr. Willard Muldrow of Washington, D.C.. She is survived by : her son David P. Horton Jr.; daughter-in-law, Mrs. Marjorie R. Horton; two daughters, Barbara Jean Horton-Graham and Mary Frances Horton-Davis. She also leaves behind; eight grandchildren, Michael, Tracy, Kim, David, Danny, Shown, Yvonne and Richard; nine great-grandchildren, and four great-grest-grandchildren. Also she leaves her dearest friend, Mrs. Julia Wilburn. Upon returning to Baltimore in 2004, she became ill and was hospitalized at the Future Care Nursing Home at 4800 Seton Drive where she passed on. We all love you Mother and you will be greatly missed.
