Our beloved ELSIE ELIZABETH McINTYREWOODSON, eighty-six of Baltimore, Maryland went home to be with the Lord on September 19, 2011. She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Geneva and Evele and three brothers, Buck, Waddel and David. Elsie was born on April 5, 1925 in Rocky Point, North Carolina to the late David and Katie McIntrye. she received her education from the Pender County School System. Elsie left North Carolina at an early age and traveled to various states before settling and making Newark, New Jersey her home. In her younger years, Elsie loved to travel and was known to dress to impress. She loved to wear her high heels. Her employment was at Diaper Service Company in East Orange, New Jersey where she stayed for many years until the company closed and she did her early retirement. Elsie was also an active member of Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church of Newark, New Jersey until her health began to slow down. This is what brought her to Baltimore, Maryland. Although Elsie had one child she opened her home to several nieces and nephews throughout the years. Elsie leaves behind: one devoted daughter, Joyce E. Kelly; granddaughter, LaKisha Clive Taylor; two great-grandson, Anthony and Ryan Taylor; two sisters, Johnnie Mae Rouse of Lynchburg, South Carolina and Lena Mae Walker of Newark, NJ; and a host of other relatives and friends
