Emma Jane (Washington) Du-vall was born to the late Laura
Swanson and Leonard Washington. She departed this life on Monday,
July 11, 2016.

As a young woman she did many odd jobs until she was hired as an
elevator operator at Montgomery Ward, ajob that she loved.

She met and married lames Marshall Du- Vall (who preceded her in
death) and from this union 3 children were born, Marshall Du- Vall,
Alva Du- Vall- Williams and Emma Du- Vall-Bell. They also raised 4
nephews and 1 niece as their own, Harold Du- Vall, Ralph Edwards,
Kenneth Edwards (who preceded her in death), Albert Wilson and
Laurie Melton.

She learned about lehovah and was baptized as one of lehovah's
Witnesses. She faithfully served for many years becoming a regular
pioneer which she loved.

She leaves to mourn: her 3 children, Marshall Du- Vall (wife, Theresa),
Alva Williams (husband, Troy) and Emma Bell (husband, Donte);
nephews, Harold, Ralph and Albert; niece, Laurie; grandchildren,
Marshall, Marcel, Paris, Marcus, Lorrene, Monique, Erica, and laden;
27 great grandchildren; one sister, Shirley Tripps; 1 brother-in-law,
Ellerson Wilson; and 1 sister-in-law, Anna Simmons and a host of
