Eric Cornelius Carter born to the late Mary Williams and James
Taylor on July 12, 1952 in Baltimore. Maryland. Raised by his
adoptive parents Mozella and David Carter he departed this life on
January 25,2022 after a lengthy illness.
Eric A. K A Stink attended Baltimore City Public Schools, he
graduated from Dunbar High School. He ran track and played
Football and was offered a scholarship to college for track, he was a
star athlete.
Eric had numerous jobs which included roofing, The Coca-Cola
Company and Goucher College.
Eric loved to tell jokes and make people laugh he would often tell
one of his corny jokes to make you feel better, if he was having a
bad day you would never know it. He loved to talk and made friends
wherever he went. He was outgoing and friendly to whoever he met.
In 2016 he met the love of his life Netta and after a five-year
courtship they were married on October 25, 2021.
Eric gave his life to Christ after a lengthy battle of searching for a
better life. He was a faithful member of World for Christ Ministries
under Pastor Zachary Roye. Eric loved to play the tambourine and
sing, he joined a group at the church called The Spiritual Angels and
sang at local churches.
He leaves to mourn, his wife Zonetta Wise-Carter; one son, Dominic
Carter; one brother, Bobby Wells; five sisters, Annie Mae (Ann),
Bernice (Menny) Valerie, Debbie, and Carlene; Doreen preceded
him in death and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
