Eric Leroy Moore was born on June 10, 1950 in Baltimore, Maryland, to

the late Leroy Moore and Ann C. Coates. God called Eric home on

August 9,2019 after a lengthy illness.

He was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System.

As a child Eric loved playing with soldiers; to where eventually he would

enlisted in the U.S. Army where he served for 4 years, which to him was

various forts and commands. He was last stationed in Germany. Upon

discharge in 1973, Eric became a employee for Cloverland Dairies. Eric

was also employed at Mueller's Parking Lot for over 28 years. He loved

hands-on work.

Eric loved spending time with family and friends, especially if it was just

. sitting talking to his mom. From time to time he would play softball, or

just hanging out with the fellas. He loved playing checkers and cars with

his little buddy Cody Green. Eric also enjoyed his oldies but goodies. He

was a stand-up guy who wore his heart on his sleeve. But most of the time

he was a loner, as long as he had his TV and music.

Preceded him in death, his father, Leroy Moore; step father, John Coates

and brother, Kevin Coates.

Eric leaves to cherish his memories: his daughters, Valerie and Nicole

Richardson; his mother, Ann C. Coates; one brother, Daran Williams

(Mary Williams); three sisters, Deborah Moore, Michelle Green (Ter-

rence Green) and Louise Hines (Freddie Hines); one aunt, Delores

Young; two special friends, Curtis and Valerie Muse; devoted friend,

Debbie Wilson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family

and friends.
