ERIC LAMONT SYKES, son of Christina Evans and the late
Gerald Sykes was born on April 28, 1971 in Baltimore, Maryland.

He received his education in the Baltimore City Public Schools and
graduated from the Venable High School. Eric was employed at
McDonald's on Mulberry and Warwick Avenue for 18 years until
his health began to fail.

All who came across his path loved him. Eric was a gentle giant
with a big heart and smile to match. He enjoyed watching sports
and playing his PlayStation games.

Eric leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Christina Evans;
sisters, Tonya (David) and Monique; brothers, Maurice and Melvin
Sykes; aunt, Patrice Spain (Donna); uncle, Jesse Spain (Candy);
nephews, Kai and Kharmari Hemphill, Kristian Ames; cousins,
Perry (Boobie), Dawn, Little Jessie and Rhonda; special buddy
Debra Perry and a host of devoted relatives and friends.
