Obituary

Eric Jeffray Tatum, son of the late James S. Tatum and the late
Rosalee Capers was born October 2, 1968 in Essex County,
Newark, New Jersey. God called Eric from this life in the morning
of March 28, 2018.

Eric attended Baltimore City Public Schools. As a young boy, he was a
member of the boy scouts. He later joined the Job Corp. Eric always
wanted to be an entrepreneur. His favorite past time was karate and
playing cards. He was also an excellent ping pong and chess player.

Eric loved teaching his nephews card tricks. A charismatic person who
loved people, he made friends wherever he went. He managed to keep
people smiling and laughing with a witty joke or story. Eric believed in
. family. He was protective of all family members and loved each of
them, most of all, his sister, Renee. He would often say, "Nay is the
best person in the whole wide world."

He was preceded in death by: his oldest brother, James E. Tatum.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his only child, a daughter, Felisha
Maria Tatum; an only grandchild, Calvin Phillip Zuelch; two brothers,
Wayne Tatum, and Wayne Gerard Capers; two sisters, Renee Tatum
White and Tabitha Payne; a very special niece, Shannon Eboni
Pinkney, one uncle, 8 nieces, 6 nephews, a host of cousins, other
relatives and friends.
