ERIK was a gift from God born to Renee and Ronald on June30, 1988, in Baltimore, Maryland. He suddenly departed this life on August 6, 2007. He was known by his family and friends as, EJ. He attended Baltimore City public schools. Ej received various awards for his athletic abilities. He won the 2006 State Chapionship for Weight Lifting. He was named MVP for Basketball. EJ was also a football player for the Charm City Buccaneers football team in Baltimore, Maryland. EJ also tutored his peers in Algebra and Geometry. With his million dollar smile he loved spending time at family gatherings, especially when there was food involved. And boy, could he put away some food! He had a way of making you laugh even on your worst day. EJ made numerous friends wherever he went and will be sincerely missed by everyone who knew him. He leaves to mourn: his parents, Renee Wells and Ronald Taylor, Jr.; grandparents, Edward and Carolyn Wells; four brothers, Vernon Ford, Maurice Smith, Randy Taylor and Ronald Taylor; niece, Anaiya Ford; four very special cousins that were like brothers to him, Muro Basilio, Eric Wells, Jr., Trey Christian and Dajmon Wells; and a host of other cousins, aunts, uncles and friends, including a special friend, Nikki.
