Erika Terrell Rogers was born on January 9, 1972 in Washington D.c. She departed this life peacefully and was called home on Friday January 6, 2012 at St. Agnes Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland. Erika was the daughter of Vernon & Glady's Rogers. She was loved greatly by her family, friends and all who knew her and came in contact with her. In turn she spent her life spreading that love to others. Erika's deep and abiding faith in God made her recognize that she was truly blessed. Erika received her education at John F. Kennedy High School, Richmond, Virginia. After receiving her high school Diploma, Erika continued her education in Maryland where she worked at United Cerebral Palsy where she was the caregiver to Mr. Roy. She remained strong and continued to work until she was no longer able to. During Erika's spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, traveling, shopping and entertaining her two dogs Chopper and Queen. Erika was a friendly, loveable and outgoing person to everyone that she knew. She made friends wherever she went. Erika was a special mother, daughter, grand-daughter, niece and friends who will be missed dearly. She lived a full life until the Lord called her home. She leaves to cherish her memory her Daughter LaQuisha Rogers Pumpkins, Son William Booker; Parents Vernon and Glady's Rogers; one sister Monte'; three Aunts- Louise, Dora and Becky; four Uncles- Barney, Joe, Willie and Steve; one Niece Megan; One Nephew London; close Cousins Kimberly, Sean, June June, Brenda and Buddy and four very close special friends in heart Shawnise Johnson, Tomeka, Tony and Kia a special friend that she shared her life with Bryan and a host of family and friends that will hold her memory dear. Erika will forever rest in our memories. May her life forever instill into her family and friends.
