The sunset on October 23, 2015, the life of Ernest Holland, Jr. his journey came to an end from a
lengthy illness.

Ernest was born April 18, 1926 in Bethel, North Carolina to his parents, Ernest Holland, Sr. and
Cora Holland.

He attended local schools in North Carolina and he enjoyed working on the farm. Ernest married
Emma Taft whom he affectionately called "Doll Baby". They moved to Baltimore in 1957. They
were married for sixty-eight years.

Ernest worked at Debois Textiles for over forty years. He was a quiet person who loved horses
and vintage cars, enjoyed watching western shows and spending time with his friends at his
garden.

The family would like to express a special thanks to Dorothy Brown "Oot"for being a devoted and
compassionate caregiver during the lengthy illness of Uncle Ernest. And :also to Gerard Moore
who -held a special bond with his Uncle Ernest and always stayed close by.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife Emma Holland; two sons Milton and Bernard; three
grandsons, Jerome, Bernard, Jr. and Michael; two granddaughters, London and Jordan; a host of
great-grand children, nieces and nephews, including his extended family the Bakers.

Ernest refereed to Bob Baker and Ulysses Jones "Jones" as his brothers.

One son, Billy Boyd, one daughter, Carol Baines and nine siblings, Georganna, William, Jack,
