ERNEST MAURICE RICH, age 72, died at University of Maryland Medical Center on the morning of April 16, 2014. He passed away peacefully with his sister at his side. Maurice was employed as a brick mason by the Maryland Brick Company until he had to resign because of health issues. Maurice was born on August 31, 1942, in Baltimore, Maryland, to Warren Lee Rich, Sr. and Fannie Eloise Rich. He is survived by: his son Ernest Jr. (his son Jamal preceded him in death); two daughters, Karen and Paulette; his grandsons, William, Desmond, Keen, and Jamal [r.; two granddaughters, fifteen great-grandchildren; three sisters, Yvonne, Karen, and Shelly (his sister Beverly preceded him in death) and their spouses; five brothers, David, Warren, Leon, Brian, and Gregory and their spouses; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
