March 9, 1930 – December 21, 2018
Jessie Mae Williams, daughter of the late Walter Williams and
Alibee Walker was born August 6, 1929 and South Hampton,
Virginia. She departed this life on January 1, 2019 after a very
lengthy illness.
She had to drop out of grade school to work the farms to help
her parents provide for the family.
Jessie Mae was blessed with eight children, she wanted more
for her children so she moved to Baltimore, Maryland in the
early 1960's. While in Baltimore she worked for BWI Airport
and at various nursing homes. Later she was blessed with one
more child, now she have a total of 9 children who she loved
so much.
Jessie Mae was a loyal church member at St. Matthew's Holi-
ness Church, where she was the mother of the church and
evangelist.
jessie Mae was a very amazing woman who shared and spread
love wherever she went. This strong woman showed you how
to smile and keep moving no matter what was going on in your
life. She never complained about anything. Smiles and smiles,
that what she shared throughout the hospital and everywhere
she went.
She will be missed but never forgotten.
She leaves to cherish her memories: four sons, Alfonzer, Leon,
Curtis and Antionne; three daughters, Gloria Neal, Evon and
Diane; one son, Robert Williams and one daughter, Mary
Williams preceded her in death; one son-in-law, Gary Neal
eleven grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren, one
brother, James Williams; one sister, Dorothy Richardson; care-
givers, Adrian Nance and Robert Downing and a host of other
relatives and friends.
