Ernestine P. Thomas peacefully passed away on September 2, 2026. She was born on May 21, 1952 in Baltimore, MD.

A proud graduate of Douglass High School, Class of 1970, Ernestine went on to dedicate many years of hard work _ to the community, later retiring from the University of Maryland Dental School.

She was preceded in death by her beloved child, Dominique Spears, her mother, Lula Mae Webb, and her father, Ernest Greene, and husband Reginald Thomas.

Her love, warmth, and memory will be forever cherished by her daughter, Deneen Spears-Williams, and her son- in-law, Kenneth Williams. She leaves behind a devoted family, including her siblings: Thomas Logan, Pauline Dett, Johnnette Webb, Donnell Webb, and Jenell Webb (who preceded her in death), as well as John L. Webb (who also preceded her in death).

She will be deeply missed by her nieces and nephews: Shonnette Boone, Danyelle and Michael Glover, Khadaji Boone, Sharnea Laws, Shapel Mayo, Arica Wright, Denaia Tripp, Paula Dett of San Bernardino, California, Jerome Dett, Jerrod Dett (both of San Bernardino, California), Steven Logan, Donnell Webb Jr., Maurice Harris, and Michael McKnight; her grandchildren: Cierra Toogood, Dominique Spears, Darrion Spears Lacquetta Harris, Leonard Chase, and Kendrick Williams; along with several great-grandchildren, extended relatives, and dear friends.
