Essie Mae Freison, daughter of the late Alice Lena Dixon was born on May 6, 1921 in Fayetteville, North Carolina. She departed this life on September 30, 2006 at the age of 85 years. She left North Carolina at an early age to live with her late uncle James Dixon and aunt Maggie Dixon here in Baltimore, Maryland. AAunt Essie was married to Wallace Moses Frieson, the love of her life for over 30 years. He was called home on July 4, 1989. As a faithful member of Jones Tabernacle Baptist Church for many years, she was a diligent servant who loved the LORD. Preceeding Aunt Essie in death was her brothers, William Dixon of Fayetteville, N.C. in 2003, Random Dixon of N.Y. in 1953, her sister, Henretta Dixon of Passaic, N.J., Elenora Robinson of Fayetteville, N.C. in 1990, Eola Kelly of Fayetteville, N.C. in 1998. Aunt Essie leaves to mourn a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
