Esthma F. Largent, fondly known as "Essie" was born June 26, 1939 to the late Starling and Mamie Fuller in Morehead City, North Carolina. Esthma received her early education from North Carolina Public Elementary and High School. Esthma attended New England School of Design in Boston Massachusetts for a year, she graduated from Fayetteville State University with a B.A. Degree in Elementary Education. Esthma taught in the public schools on the Eastern Shore of MD for several years. Her remaining years of teaching were in Baltimore City Public Schools, until she retired. In 1964 Esthma was united in Holy Matrimony to Johnny L. Largent. From this union a loving daughter, Jonneise was born. Esthma was a member of Bethel A.M.E. Church; (Baltimore, MD) where for many years made known that God was her Lord and Savior. She enjoyed music, dancing, singing, teaching, meeting and talking to others, traveling, worshipping and praising God. Esthma was an avid reader of books and enjoyed doing all kinds of puzzles. She leaves a family who will miss her, but thankful to God for allowing her to be a part of each one's life. She is survived by her husband - Johnny, her daughter - Jonneise, her sisters - Muriel and Allena, her brother - William Chancer, sisters-in-law - Marsha and Peggy, brother-in-law - Eugene, nephews, nieces and a host of cousins and friends.
