Ethel Jones, daughter of the late Flora Elizabeth Jennings and William

Harris, was born on December 28, 1937 in Baltimore, Maryland. She

passed from this life on Easter Sunday, April 21, 2019. Ethel received

her formal education in the Baltimore Public School System.

She married Ronald Jones Sr., and out of this union, one child was

born, the late Ronald Jr. Later, following her divorce, Ethel entered

into a very special and loving relationship with the late Joseph G.

Henry, that lasted for more than 30 years.

Ethel loved her family and friends. She laughed and loved to make

others laugh as well. She loved music and liked to dance. And, too, she

had a special place in her heart for animals, especially those who

adopted her. Ethel was patient and kind and always available to listen

to others who sought her out for advice or a word of comfort. She will

be missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents and son, Ethel was preceded in death by a

sister, Geraldine and three brothers, William Harris and his wife

Melva, Leonard Harris and Edward Harris. She leaves to mourn two

sisters-in-law, Frances Harris and Delores Harris and a number of

nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
