Etta came to Baltimore in the late 1940' s. She dedicated 20 years
of her life to taking care of special needs adults through her
employment with an assistant living company where she also
worked as a supervisor. Prior to her employment with this company,
Etta worked 20 plus years at the Gordon Restaurant in Baltimore, MD.

Etta enjoyed cooking food, playing cards and playing games with her
family and friends. She met the love of her life, the late James Edward
Lacey, Sr. in 1985. James and Etta loved to travel around the country
to visit family members and to attend reunions. They also enjoyed
