Eugene Franklin
Lemon
April 5, 1945 – August 25, 2024
Eugene Franklin Lemon was the thirdborn child and the
firstborn son of the late Corrine Mariah Lemon and James Lemon Sr. Eugene was born April 5th, 1945 in Sumter, South Carolina.
He received his formal education in Baltimore City Public Schools. On December 22, 1969 he entered the United States Army. He re tired in 1971 as a Sgt. with an honorable discharge. Following that,
he maintained a career in the Home Improvement and Construction Industry. Eugene received Christ as his personal savoir at an
early age, and later joined Greater Refuge Temple COGIC under
the leadership of the late Bishop Walter Ernest Nelson.
During his life's journey, he fell in love and married Theresa Mae Crawford. Together they enjoyed a full life, filled with traveling and family gatherings.
Eugene was affectionally known as KB, Uncle Bubble and Grit. He enjoyed playing pinochle and chess with his family and friends.
Eugene was preceded in death by his loving wife, Theresa Mae Lemon; two sisters, Surena Lemon and Anniebell Mitchell; two brothers, Leon Lemon and Herbert Lemon.
He leaves to cherish he memory: one brother, James Lemon Jr; two sisters-in-law, Angela Lemon and Gwendolyn Nottingham-Lemon; one aunt, Ethelina Lemon; four children by marriage Mischell, Regina, Tonya and Richard (Veronica); a lifelong friend, Donald Brown, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, family and friends.
