Eugene M. McWay, Jr., affectionately known by his family as "Shawn", and "Bates" by his friends. He departed this earthly life peacefully in his sleep on June 26,2017.

Eugene was born January 26, 1974 to Eugene Sr., and Patricia McWay. He attended Baltimore City Public Schools and excelled in learning the computer. He enjoyed weight lifting and spending numerous hours in the gym. He loved football and was an avid Baltimore Ravens Fan.

Eugene was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Ann; paternal grandparents, Nelson and Frances Harris; one uncle, McNeal McWay.

He is survived by his father, Eugene M. McWay, Sr.; aunts, Julia Stockett, Lillian Thomas and Rosie Shirriel; special cousin, Theresa McWay and a host of other relatives and friends.
