Eulalia Marie Bell was born on September 11, 1963, III Baltimore, Maryland, to her loving parents, Lewis and Jenette Bell. Lalia (or Lala) as her family and friends lovingly called her, grew up in West Baltimore and bonded with a special group of friends that remained her loyal companions until the end. Throughout her lif~, Lalia was always the person that brought everyone together. She was a calming spirit, that yacefully entered your life and you wanted to be in her presence. Lalia had. a warm smile and a kind word for everyone she came in contact with; you could always count on having a good time and a big laugh if you spent even a few minutes with her. Lalia began her educational journey at the Betsy Ross Elementary School. She then attended Calverton Middle and Southwestern High Schools. At Southwesten, Lalia was a member of the tennis team from freshman year through graduation; she graduated in 1981. After a brief break in her educational journey, Lalia decided that she was interested in Human Resources and received an undergraduate degree from the University of Phoenix. She later obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Walden University. Lalia was employed at various companies in Baltimore City, most recently working for the State Office of the Public Defender. At each of her places of employment, Signet Bank, Genesis Eldercare, and others, she left a lasting impression-especially her unrelenting positive energy. Lalia had a deep love for her family, especially for her daughter, Jemara, whom she and Paul Roberson were blessed with in 2000. Lalia had a large extended family and gatherings with her parents, daughter, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews as well as her vast host of cousins, were the highlights of every free moment she had. When Lalia became ill in 2013, the family created the 'Party for Nothing' theme for any excuse to gather. Our gatherings were magical and Lalia was often at the center of the celebration. Anyone who knew Lalia knew her famous response ''I'm fine," to the question, "Hey, Lalia how are you doing?" But, in the end we knew she was not fine. Despite having a chronic illness that took over her body, her spirit and response remained the same, "I'm fine". And now, thank GOD ALMIGHTY, she is FINE! She answered the call to return to the Spirit on November 9, 2014. Her family and friends are heartbroken but happy that her suffering is now over. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Jemara, parents (Lewis and [enette), sisters Susie Renee Bell Rasco, Natasha (Tony) Johnson-Lewis, Wanda (Wayne) Bell-Farrell and Lisa (Ronald) Beatty; brothers Joseph Bell and Tyrone (Shirelle) Bennett; a host of aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and co-workers.
