IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Eva M
Anderson
September 9, 1938 – January 8, 2025
Eva was born in Glen Burnie, Anne Arundel County, Maryland. She was married to Lawrence H. Anderson (deceased). From that union came four children: Lawrence R. Anderson Sr., Darryl T. Anderson, Cheryl L Anderson and Arthur D. Anderson ( deceased).
Eva retired from the Baltimore City Public School System after 32 years of service. Her proudest moment while working there was when she passed the Paraprofessional to Professional test on the first attempt. This accomplishment proved her mastery of skill in her field as an educator assistant and increased her income.
Eva loved her family. Family was important to her. She wasn't into fancy things or hanging out. She preferred to be home with her family, loving up on them, making sure everyone was good and happy. In her later years, one way she expressed her love and dedication to family was by being a caregiver to her mother, sister, and brother.
Even though , sometimes being a caregiver was difficult for her, Eva would say , "This is my purpose . God gave me the ability to care and love with the promise of His eternal love."
She stayed out of outside business. Her business was her family.
Eva enjoyed all kinds of music, reading romance novels, going to movies and Broadway shows, eating at seafood restaurants(crab imperial was a favorite meal), and going anywhere with her daughter Cheryl. A warm, engaging woman, many of her children's friends adopted Eva as a second Mom.
Eva had two main sayings: "Family should stick together" and "There's a place for everything and everything has a place." Eva leaves to cherish her memory her three children: Lawrence, Darryl and Cheryl Anderson. Five grandchildren: Jameel and Tiffany (wife) Anderson, Malcolm Davis (her Pookie as she called him) Lawrence Anderson Jr. (Lil Lawrence as she called him), and Armonni Anderson. Two great-granddaughters: Zorah Anderson and Ni'yella Anderson, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
