On Resurrection Sunday, april 12, 2009, God sent an angel to bring home Eva Lee Christian. Eva Lee Christian was born to the late Anious and Cora Norville on July 30, 1928 in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. She was the oldest of five children. She was educated in North Carolina. Eva relocated to West Point, Virginia in the forties. She met and married the late Cleveland Christian. Of this union seven children were born. The family moved to Baltimore in the early fifties, where she was a devoted housewife. She loved the Lord and attended church and accepted christ into her life. Eva's hobbies included reading the Bible, playing solitaire, and writting poems. She had and easy, quiet personality and was liked by everyone she met. Eva was preceded in death by husband Cleveland , son Cleveland Christian Jr. and daughter Frances Matthews. she leaves to cherish her memory Mary Ann Berry, Rita Christian, Sylvester Christian, Clarence Christian and Thelma Christian. She also leaves eleven grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and a dhost of other relatives and friends.
