IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Fannie
Thompson-Paniel
April 12, 1946 – March 13, 2021
Mrs. Fannie Mildred Thompson Paniel was born April 12, 1946, in Raleigh, North Carolina to Jessie and Vandella Thompson. She departed this life on Saturday, March 13, 2021 from a short illness.
Mrs. Mildred attended Raleigh North Carolina high school and upon completion of her education she met Joseph Harrington and they had two wonderful sons Tracy Thompson, and Christopher Thompson.
Mrs. Mildred later moved to Baltimore, Maryland where she continued her career as a nursing assistant to create a life for herself and her sons.
Mrs. Mildred, dedicated in a union in marriage to her soul mate Willie Paniel in 1996, they always hosted great gatherings with friends and family. Mrs. Mildred was a great cook, a wonderful mother and very easy to talk to. She was not the one to ever bite her tongue nor compromise her peace or sanity for others and would always give her honest opinion.
She leaves behind to mourn: her husband, Willie Paniel; brother Moses Thompson; her sister, Ella Mae Austin; her loving sons, Christopher and Tracy Thompson; her grandchildren, Shantavia Thompson (Momma cakes) Terry Thompson, Shakila Williams (Baby cakes or Lil Momma), Darrius Thompson, Deandre Thompson, Deonte Thompson, Lil Christopher Thompson, and Aliyah Thompson; great grandchildren, Kelci Warner and Zuri Merritt. A host of nieces, nephews and cousins who adored her. A firm believer of "Mean what u say, say what u mean".
