Felix "Phil" Duncan Wallace Jr., the forth child of the late Felix and Lavinia Wallace, born on August 1, 1944 in Baltimore, Maryland, departed this life on March 30, 2011 after a lengthy illness. Phil received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System. At the age of 18 he volunteered for the United States Army, serving overseas in Angola and stateside at Fort Benning, Georggia, during his three years of military career. Following an "Honorable" discharge, Phil continued service to his country through employment at the United States Postal Service. Phil then jioned Koppers Inc. which later became Kaydon Ring and Seal Inc. as a machinist, where he retired after 27 years of service. Phil received his Christian callig at an early age, then jioned the New Psalmist baptist Church, where he remained a long standing member. His health prevented him from attending regular services, but he faithfully enjoyed watching the broadcast. Phil jioned The Democrat Club and remained a long standing member of that orgnization. He enjoyed socializing with the fellows in the club. An avid sports enthusiast, he suffered through the loss of our beloved Colts in 1984 and rejoiced with the arrival of the Ravens in 1996. He enjoyed year round fishing and was a diehard Orioles Fan. Outside of sports, Phil enjoyed playing cards with a select group of guys and spent many hours of fun and laughter with his neighborhood. Phil was preceded in death by Flex and Lavinia Wallace Momma and Daddy and his brother Neal.
