Flora Mae Claiborne was born on September 6, 1923 to the late Alice Beal Raison and Arthur Raison. They live in Baltimore, Maryland on Clarkton Street in old south Balltimore with her other three siblings. She married the late Richard S. Claiborne and had a son, the late late Albert W. Raison. She was married sixteen years and remained a widow until her passing. She was a member of the Leadenhall Baptist Church and worked in South Baltimore General Hospital. Flora's nickname was ''Fatsy.'' She loved singing with her sister, Lucy Robinson. She was a talented artist. She will always be remembered for her beautiful big smile and always wanting to dance and sing. She truly loved the Lord Jesus christ. She will be missed very, very much. She is survived by: her sister Lucy Robinson; daughter, Malinda Hayes; niees and nephews, Leroy Taylor, Nathaniel robinson, Diane Anderson, Elaine Silver and Ann Foy; three generations of nieces and nephews also cousins, other relatives and friends. She will be missed deeply.
