Florence Connie Holmes-Queen, the daughter of the late Calvin M. Holmes and Florence B. Holmes was born June 11, 1957 in Baltimore, Maryland. She entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 8, 2015 after a brief illness at Union Memorial Hospital. Florence was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System. She also were raised, Baptism at Greater New Hope Baptist Church. She work various of jobs. She met and married George Queen. Affectionately known as Boncey to many, she had such a way with everyone. She was funny, witty, and free spirited. She love her family, cooking, dancing, music, having a good time is what she loved doing the most. Boncey will truly be missed. So rest in peace, we love you Boncey. Preceding Florence in death, her father, mother, three brothers and three sisters. Florence leaves to mourn: one daughter, Jacqueline Thomas; two sons, William Reed Jr. and Tony Perry; seven grandchildren, LaTonya Spencer, Sharday Spencer, Breanna Reed, Jabria Mitchell, Marcella Whitfield, Ny 'Asia Perry and Dwan Campbell Jr.; two great grandchildren, Ashton Webb and Eneria Wat- kins; five sisters, Pamela Purnell, Bernadette Bailey, Beverly Laws, Janice Holmes, and Carol Holmes; one brother, John Holmes; longtime friend and companion, Latif.!
