Floence "Elizabeth" Pryor-Thompson, affectionately known as "Pye and Elizabeth" was born on October 21, 1961 to the late Lillie Maude Pryor and John Lewis Pryor. She departed this life suddenly on Wednesday October 12,2016.
Elizabeth was born in Mecklenburg County, Virginia, but moved to Baltimore, Maryland in 1971 at the age of 9. Elizabeth continued her education in Baltimore City Public Schools, where she went on to
graduated from Southwestern High School and furthered her education
in college where she received her degree in nursing.
Elizabeth accepted Christ in her life and was baptized at an early age. She was a faithful member at Central Baptist Church.
Elizabeth was employed at Bon Secour Hospital and Barnes and Nobles Bookstore where she served dutifully for many years. Elizabeth also did drug counseling at different drug programs such as BBH.
In her leisure time Elizabeth loved writing poems, dancing, singing, playing cards and spending time with family.
In 1999 Elizabeth met Bryan Thompson Sr. and they fell in love. Peanut as everyone called him married Elizabeth in 2008.
Preceding her in death, sister, Pamela Pryor; brothers, Robert Pryor, Darryl Pryor, and Mckinsley Johnson; nephew, Robert Pryor Jr., great nephew, Deshaun Jones and great niece, Shanizya Taft.
She leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Bryan Thompson Sr.; 3 children, Andre Carter, Shalita Carter and Bridney Walcott (James Walcott); 2 stepchildren, Quinn Allen and Bryan Thompson Jr.; 3 brothers, John, Jasper and Alpheus Pryor; 2 sisters, Lillie Mae and Carolyn Pryor; 11 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter; stepfather, Early Johnson; 13 sisters-in-law, 6 brothers-in-law, 1 uncle, Noyse, 3 aunts, Esther, Shirley and Mary Lee; long time friend, Alvin Brown and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
