Frances S. Johnson, daughter of the late Albert and Josephine Williams was born on November 16, 1925 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life on March 6, 2009. She received her education at Frederick Douglass High School in Baltimore, Maryland. Upon graduation she was employed by General Electric Corporation. Following her tenure with General Electric, she and her mother co-owned the Monroe Cafe' Lounge on Monroe Street. She was then employed by the Social Security Administration and retired in 1990. She married Benjamin C. Johnson and out of this union one child was born, Francine Stevens. Frances made numerous friends wherever she went and will be missed by everyone who knew her. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and always a true friend. She leaves to mourn her daughter Francine Stevens, grandson Stephen Stevens, hr cat Alex, and a host of friends.
